On March 20, the Centre held an expert demonstration meeting on the purchase of large scientific research instruments, and conducted an in-depth discussion on the proposed purchase of large instruments and equipment for the project of "Collaborative Control Technology of Multi-Quality Characteristics of 80kW Fiber Laser Intelligent Cutting Machine Tools".

The meeting invited Zhang Qunli, dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University of Technology, Xu Kaichen, researcher of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University, Yang Jianguo, professor of the School of Mechanical Engineering of Zhejiang University of Technology, Zhou Weidong, researcher of the School of Physics and Electricity of Zhejiang Normal University and Feng Aixin, professor of the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Wenzhou University to form the expert group.Zhou Jianzhong, Deputy Director of the Centre, presided over the meeting, and the project leaders and relevant researchers attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the project leader reported in detail the necessity, rationality and applicability of the proposed instrument. It is reported that the equipment is the core testing equipment to support the project to achieve technological breakthroughs. In addition, the project team put forward a set of perfect instrument sharing plan, aiming to maximise the social benefits of the equipment through efficient resource allocation.

After listening to the report carefully, the expert group carefully reviewed the application form for checking and evaluation, technical demonstration report and other related materials, and carried out in-depth and extensive discussions around the equipment parameters of large scientific research instruments, configuration details, practical application scenarios and their specific supportive role for the Centre's scientific research work and other dimensions. The expert group unanimously agreed that the parameters and configurations of the instruments to be purchased are clear and scientific, which are in line with the scientific research needs of the Centre, and agreed to push forward the procurement process, and suggested to speed up the process so as to serve the project research as early as possible.

The successful convening of this expert demonstration meeting not only provides professional and authoritative guidance for the Centre to purchase large scientific research instruments, but also lays a solid foundation for the subsequent smooth promotion of the projects such as "Multi-Quality Characteristics Collaborative Control Technology of 80kW Fibre Laser Intelligent Cutting Machine Tools" and so on.
