On May 30, 2026, the "Lighting the Way to a New Journey: Intelligent Innovation for the Future—Exchange Conference on Laser Optoelectronic Technology and Future Industrial Development" concluded successfully at China (Wenzhou) New Light Valley. The event brought together over a hundred industry leaders, scientific researchers, industrial experts, and venture capital specialists from across the country. Through academic discussions, technical exchanges, exhibitions of achievements, project presentations, and industrial collaboration signings, it established a tripartite collaborative platform integrating universities, research institutions, enterprises, and capital markets, providing strong momentum for Wenzhou to cultivate new forms of productive forces and build a nationally leading laser optoelectronics industrial cluster.

At the conference's parallel session on laser optoelectronics and technology industry exchange, Dr. Hu Mengzhu from the center was invited to deliver a presentation titled "High-Performance 1560 nm Series Femtosecond Fiber Lasers for Multi-Domain Applications." She highlighted the core technological advantages of high-power 1.5 μm femtosecond fiber lasers and their significant market application value.

Dr. Hu Mengzhu then proposed optimization solutions addressing the research challenges and technical difficulties in developing three types of 1560 nm femtosecond fiber lasers—high-energy, high-repetition-rate, and narrow-pulse-width. Moving forward, the team will continue advancing the laser systems toward full fiber integration, modularity, and miniaturization, significantly reducing equipment operation and maintenance costs while expanding the range of practical applications, thereby promoting large-scale industrialization of laser and optoelectronic technologies.
In addition to technical sharing, several core technology products from the center were showcased at the conference's technology exhibition area. On-site R&D teams attracted numerous exhibitors to stop by for inquiries and in-depth discussions through professional presentations and demonstrations of their technological achievements.
This participation marks a significant opportunity for the center to deepen industry engagement and connect with industrial resources. Going forward, the center will continue to focus on the core laser sector, simultaneously advancing technological innovation and practical application, continuously overcoming key technical bottlenecks, and empowering high-quality development of the regional optoelectronic industry.
