Director Zhang Jiabo and his delegation gained detailed insights into the center's progress across multiple key areas. Regarding the gathering of high-end talent, they focused on the center's initiatives and achievements in attracting top-tier professionals. In scientific research and technological breakthroughs, they delved into the challenges the center is tackling and its potential breakthrough points. Concerning technology transfer, they inquired thoroughly about how research outcomes are converted into tangible productivity. Simultaneously, they focused on the Laser Center's operational framework, including its organizational structure and management model. Detailed inquiries were also made regarding the Center's Chief Scientist, Expert Advisory Committee, and leading talent teams, aiming to comprehensively grasp the Center's core competitiveness and development potential.

Director Zhang Jiabo outlined clear and specific requirements for the development of the center and the New Guang Valley during his research visit. He emphasized that the first priority is to deepen ideological understanding, fully grasp the significance of building an innovative Wenzhou at a high level, and recognize the pivotal role played by the “One Port and Five Valleys” initiative in this endeavor. Construction efforts must be advanced with heightened political awareness and strategic foresight. Second, strategic resolve must be maintained. Continuous efforts should be made to enhance the platform's capacity, industrial competitiveness, talent attraction, and service support capabilities. More solid and effective measures should be adopted to drive new breakthroughs in the development of the New Valley.

As the core engine of China (Wenzhou) New Light Valley, the Center is committed to “building a strategic national scientific and technological force.” Aligned with national strategies and Zhejiang Province's major needs, it focuses on industrial security and supply chain modernization. The Center continuously advances in three key areas: high-power laser intelligent manufacturing systems, laser precision manufacturing equipment suites, and high-performance lasers and optoelectronic devices. It provides robust innovation momentum for New Light Valley's development, driving Wenzhou toward high-quality growth in the laser industry.
