In order to develop the center's international cooperation and talent introduction work, on February 18th, the director of the center, Wu Rangda came to visit Kyoto University in Japan, and had a friendly exchange with Professor Yasuhiko Shimoma of the Department of Materials Chemistry of Kyoto University.

Director  RangDa Wu firstly introduced the basic situation of the Provincial Laser Intelligent Equipment Technology Innovation Center, including the research team, research direction, research results, main tasks and domestic and international cooperation. Prof. Yasuhiko Shimoma introduced the research field of laser technology of the Department of Materials Chemistry of Kyoto University, its important achievements, and the progress of their cooperative research with Cambridge University, University of Southampton, Zhejiang University and other world-renowned universities in laser frontier technology. Both sides expressed their willingness to cooperate in science and technology in the future, and explored the possibility of cooperation in the exchange of talents, project research and the transformation of results.

Director RangDa Wu also visited Prof. Yasuhiko Shimoma's Laboratory of Laser Science. Prof. Yasuhiko Shimoma's research results have had a significant impact in the field of quantum information materials and devices, especially in the directional control of NV centers in diamond and quantum bit applications. His work provides a new material basis and technical path for the practical application of quantum technology.
